College life is one of the most exciting times of a person’s life. in terms of life it is the goal of becoming who you are and what you want in the nearest future. it is the feeling of a person’s mind being opened in a way that a person enjoy. in college the goal become more specific in terms of choosing your profession for example if you want to be a teacher you should pursue taking Education course, or you also want to be a Policeman then take the criminology course and many more. now you have so many thoughts. how can i pass in college? what makes college hard? what if i choose the wrong decision can i still be good or pass at every subject?

The struggle in college is not uncommon, well it is because there is nothing in life that is very easy to get except for dreaming it is easy to dream but it will become hard when you are working on your dreams to come true. life is hard at every person so as college but that doesn’t mean you need to stop and quit. for most people college is one of the stepping stone in order to successfully fulfill their dreams. now it will bring us that how hard is college. As a fellow student from what i have experience college was more harder that secondary school or the High school. the topic become more complicated the way of teacher discuss the topic was concise where the learning in college is more focused on self-learning the topic unlike in the high school the teacher spoon-feed the student so they can easily understand the topics.

Here are my 7 study tips that you should do while you are in College:

1: Make a Routine

Our college life will give us hardship and if we are not prepared enough our grades will be low. We should start writing our routine from time the time we wake up also from the time we go to sleep. Having a simple plan in college we could rest assured that our thinking will always positive because we have prepared a plan with a schedule of doing what you have plan specially having a routine may update yourself and avoid doing procrastination.

2: Learn to Choose your Priority

You have four or five years in college before you graduate not unless you have to take masteral or doctorate degrees. In those four or five years focus more on studying or learning new things that could help you. Avoid any coming distractions, for example you have two choices one is to go out and hangout with your friends and the other one is to stay in your dorm or house because on the next day it is your preliminary exam. The best decision is to choose studying. On my opinion it is better to pass the exam rather going outside wasting money. Learning to choose your priority will eliminate other distractions

3: Write Write Write

As a fellow student sharing information on college tips I am not fond with multitasking but in terms of collecting information through writing will never let you down while listening to your teacher. Writing will make you remember your notes easily. It is ok to perform draft writing even your notes that you make are messy. After class it will serve as a reviewer as you rewrite the information that you have gathered in class discussion

4: Make yourself Teachable

In college it is focused on self-learning so you must use your environment as a source of information. Don’t be shy to ask question from your professor or your schoolmates that knows the topic well. Be open-minded on what you are about to learn because your making yourself a favor to learn new things that could help you in the nearest future.

5: Take a Rest

Having couple of breaks id IMPORTANT after studying or doing some school activities. Studying sometimes or quite often make us bored. Use the first tip make a routine for example three hours of studying is equivalent of one and a half hour of break like playing games, chat with your friends, watching television or eating snacks. Taking a break help relief or stress and have a peaceful moment of time.

6: If the task is difficult start early

Some professor in college will give us hard task that will be given for a week or more. One of the example was creating a research paper. Doing a task like this cannot be finish in just one seated. Starting at early will help you progress little by little even the task is difficult you will know that you have started from something unlike not doing the activity. Doing the difficult task as soon as possible will avoid you from procrastinatinating and you might also double checked if you have some mistake in a specific activity

7: Learn from your Mistake

In college you will experience many hardship and suffering. One of the painful experience that I have encounter was failing the final exam in integral calculus where I only achieve twenty eight percent of the exam and the passing rate should be higher than sixty percent. After failing the subject I have decided to retake the subject. I change my habit from playing games into watching topics from YouTube. Do not let your failure put you down instead use those mistake as opportunity which will help you grow in your college life.
